Alternative Process
Before modern photographic emulsions were developed, the first methods for printing on paper required using light reactive chemistry that was often soaked into the paper. This category includes a variety of siderotype (iron based) printing techniques, as well as homemade silver gelatin and collodion emulsions.
Archival Silver Gelatin Fine Art Prints
Advanced darkroom printing techiniques take into account adjustments to the exposure throughout the image being printed, as well as masking for contrast effects. Archival medium and processing is used to ensure that the final print will last a lifetime.
